outfit guide

So, what do I wear?

compliment each other but don't match.

You don't want to create the illusion of being Siamese twins. It is important to find complementary outfits that showcase a variety of colors, textures and patterns. Compliment each other as well as your surroundings

flatter your body shape.

Wear clothes that make you feel confident (like the king/queen you are). If you're confident, the better your photos are going to turn out. And don't worry, I'm here to be your hype woman every step of the way!

neutrals + earth tones.

You don't want your outfit to distract from the subject, YOU! Brighter colors can reflect unflattering tones onto the skin (and these shots need to be IG worthy!) Neutrals and earth tones compliment the skin and make those beautiful tones pop!

Do's + Don'ts

eat.

Make sure you have a satisfied tummy prior to your session. I wouldn't recommend going for a buffet right before but you also don't want to be hangry during your shoot.

exfoliate and moisturize.

Using your favorite scrub will bring forth new plump cells. Hydrating the skin inside and out the night before your session will give your skin a radiant glow.

get plenty of rest.

Dark circles are less noticeable after a good nights sleep and your eyes will look less puffy.

don't stress.

I get it, easier said than done. Give yourself enough time before and after your shoot so you don't feel rushes, it's all about capturing you!

most importantly,

HAVE FUN!

Take this advice with a grain of salt. If bright colors and patterns are your thing, then GO FOR IT! Ultimately, whatever feels like you is going highlight your best accessory of all, your personality! I cannot wait to see what you put together.
